How did it start?
I’ve been struggling with food allergies for the last few years when I change my geographical location from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia, so it seemed obvious that I will try to find a solution to this common problem.
Overview
A meal planner is a software application that enables users to create and manage meal plans. Meal planners typically provide features such as recipes, ingredient lists of using each meal, and nutrition information. Meal planners also offer diet tracking and other health-related features.
Project Timeline
This is a side project of mine, After working a full-time job I worked on this project my extra time, So for this project, I needed more than 120 Hours for the complete full project, (Note: I did just the main screens)
Problems
The main problem is that people fail in their dieting attempts because they are not sure what they (The restaurant) used for each of the dishes, and the majority of people aren’t maintaining their own health issues because of allergenic food that are commonly added by restaurant and healthy ingredients are missing to use as the user have to, Moreover, we also enable users to track their nutrition levels and provide insights based on previous health data and sometimes users commonly fail to see how it cooking,
Challenge
The majority of the population is crunched for time. We noticed people ordering food, perusing various menus, checking ingredients, and evaluating the accuracy of restaurants’ operation details — all online. Convenient, efficient, and more attractive — this is what we are aiming for with our app. We want to tune in to our users’ expectations with precision. Ordering food online has never been easier.

Food Revolution
Time is valuable; people realize they need to use it more efficiently. With the arrival of the digital age, people’s eating habits have adapted accordingly. Technology has donated to changes in consumer preferences, and dependence on technology has moved many related interactions online, including having cooked meals delivered to homes or offices.
Why do I do it
My goal is to design the best food app — one that people will enjoy using and come to rely on.
Today more than ever, efficiency is an essential attribute everyone strives for. People are not only looking for something exciting to eat but also more adventurous ways to explore healthier eating and better choices also people want something that can be edited easily and can increase and decrease ingredients.
Sketching and Low fidelity wireframes
I usually start the design process with sketching after that I did low fidelity wireframes, This is the way I iterate through many design options quickly With my sketching and wireframing, I was able to clearly define the basic features and main user journey of the app.
1. The users should be able to specify their dietary preferences
2. They can choose from a predefined weekly menu and edit these menus
3. They can read their recipes on their menus
4. They can assemble a shopping list based on their menu
Final UI Design
Look & feel
As the first part of the UI design process, I experimented with different colors and styles. I tried to focus on colors and visual elements which can distinguish our brand from other meal planner apps.
Final design elements:
1. Using White and light grey as a base color
2. Adding pink and green neon gradients as accent colors
3. Rounded edges and circles for a friendlier look
4. Vibrant, high-resolution food images
