Gone are the days when people used to wait for buses and parking, Whether you will attend a wedding or are preparing yourself for a meeting, there is an app for every occasion, Taxify helps you avail fast and comfortable rides within minutes, It won’t take much time to avail of your first ride with a smooth signup process and uncluttered UI, If you’re lucky enough, you can get a free or discounted ride using a referral code,
Challenge
Understand how competitors are doing things and learn from them but design something unique and user-friendly, Our main aim is to introduce the intercity ride concept where people can travel into different provinces easily and recommended while enjoying the best transportation within a time range, and click-and-go for instant services. The app could work globally and provide the only locality-based search results for ride seekers.
User interviews
We sent out a survey to shared taxi users and potential users, We conducted 5 user interviews
1. What is your usual model of the transport-personal vehicle/private cab/shared cab/ public transport?
2. Why do you prefer this mode?
3. How often do you use a ride-sharing service? if never there have any particular reasons?
4. If one or more which ride-sharing services do you pick and why?
5. Do you remember your last ride-sharing experience?
6. Why had you chosen a ride share that time?
7. Have any issues with payment?
8. Have any experience with using this application?
9. What are the pain points about the in-ride experience?
10. What is the user behavior before, during, and after the ride?
11. What kind of information do they need to ride for the first time?
12. What are the barriers to usage?
Problems
1. How might we generate trust in the driver from the ride seekers?
2. How might we ensure the user reaches his destination in minimum time, How long rider will come to pick user?
3. Can the user send a request by nearby (specific) kilometers?
4. Does this riding safe for users?
5. what is anyone getting riding for business purposes, and how it’s will it be counted?
Solution
The driver’s vehicle details and phone + govt. ID verification of drivers as well as riders happens before users can offer or take a ride. Users can be booked a car by selecting specific kilometers, and user can check the recommendations from local other’s users, we show easy and segmented payment for business rides or personal rides.
Get Ride
To avail of the ride, riders need to select a pickup and drop-off location and ride type. Afterward, the ride request is sent to multiple drivers. After accepting the ride request, a rider is popped up with fare estimation and estimated time to reach the destination.
